Other participating Composer Salon composers include Paul Connolly, Hsin-Jung Tsai, Seth Paynter, Doug Falk, and many others.

Composers Salon presents the music of local Houston composers who operate outside the walls of academia and whose music defies easy categorization. This is composed music that also embraces jazz, electronic, and rock idioms.

Upcoming Composer Salon concerts will include small, intimate affairs, where conversation among the artists and audience is encouraged, to larger, multi-media events, with guest video, dance, and performance artists.

We're very interested in collaborating with museums to present concerts that draw inspiration from, and engages in a dialogue with, their exhibiting artists.
